This project was based at Fresh Ground in Clapham Junction. F.R.E.S.H Studios was a collaboration of local dance organisations, professional teachers and some of the UK's leading Black choreographers. Coming together to offer a unique programme of dance for the community.
Highlighted in the Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival. Our goal was to provide great opportunities within the community to access more dance.
This project came together under the simple agreement that dance provides us with powerful opportunities for learning, health, well-being and mind-body connection. Each of our classes, performances and special events aimed to leave the participant feeling good! The project is now closed and we are grateful to all those who join us. Your presence made it magical.

Birthing New Earth: An interactive, live art performance. Inviting audiences to reimagine society by generating ideas to create a performance of entertainment and enlightenment in the present moment. (£11/£8)
Meta Fierro Tango Performance
Watch & Be Moved
Inspired by the classic Tango de Salon of Buenos Aires, a style forged during the golden age of this dance (and music) in the 1940-50s. This is a dance style deeply rooted in its cultural origins. Tango is an improvised dance focused on the connection with the music and the partner. (Free, booking is required)
Drums Radio Afro House Freestyle Party Session with Milo Santos
On Your Feet
Known for his freestyle Milo Santos is part of a duo called 'Milo & Fabio’ & together they have founded the #AHUK (Afrohouse UK). With a Drums Radio DJ, bring the vibes of their Drums AfroHouse club nights. This freestyle session will give you the chance to bring all your moves from the workshop to the dance floor!
